Exterior Hand Wash & Wax is the protective visit most vehicles benefit from every month or two: a hand wash that gets the grit off before anyone touches the paint with a cloth, a clay bar decontamination, then a coat of wax or sealant to protect the finish underneath. We do it where the vehicle is parked, so there is no shop to drive to and no waiting room.
The wash uses a two-bucket method and clean microfibre, which matters more than the soap does. Most of the fine scratching on a car comes from the wash itself, not the road. Wheels, tires and wheel wells are cleaned separately from the body, bug splatter and tar spots are softened and lifted rather than scrubbed off dry, and the wax goes on by hand once the surface is clean and dry.

A wash and wax looks best on paint that is already in decent shape. If the finish has gone dull or is covered in swirl marks, paint correction is the better first step, and a wash on top of that will look sharper and last longer.
